Breakdown
This course is an introduction to the fundamental principles of biochemistry, the study of chemical processes and reactions that occur in living organisms. The course will cover the molecular and cellular basis of life, the structure and function of biomolecules such as proteins, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, and lipids, and the metabolic pathways that enable the synthesis and degradation of these molecules.
