Breakdown
If you're looking to apply your existing theoretical knowledge to problems in modern cutting-edge research, this course is for you. The first part of the course is a survey of various research fields with an emphasis on understanding tools and techniques. The second part of the course teaches you how to dissect published research papers and present research in an accessible way. The last part of the course helps you find a research niche to explore and write a review paper that you can put on your resume. Taught by college students who conduct research in academic labs, you will gain guidance for how to tackle research and even start your own research project after the course ends.
